University of the Punjab — 2nd Undergraduate Admission Test (Academic Year 2026-27)

Issuer: University of the Punjab, Lahore. The University is conducting a 2nd PU Admission Test for undergraduate programs for Academic Year 2026–27. The test is tentatively scheduled for 2026-07-19. Registration for the 2nd PU Admission Test is open online; the last date for online registration is 2026-07-03.

Who may apply: Students who have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / Grade 12 or equivalent; students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent and are awaiting results; candidates who appeared in the 1st Admission Test (14-06-2026) may apply again and the higher score will be used for admission.

Admission test weightage: 25% of total merit calculation. Results of last year’s PU tests are not valid for new admissions. Admission Test will qualify candidates to apply on the PU admission portal for various programs when advertised.

How to apply and fee:

• Apply online at: http://admissiontest.pu.edu.pk
• Admission Test fee: PKR 2,500 (non-refundable and non-transferable).
• Download fee challan while registering at admissiontest.pu.edu.pk. Fee challan is payable at branches of HBL, UBL or via Mobile Banking through 1Bill.
• Applicants must upload proof of payment on the admission portal to complete the application process.
• Admission test centers will be held in Lahore and major cities of Pakistan.

Programme-specific notes: PU Admission Test is mandatory for admission to several programs including B.Sc. (Engg.) Chemical, Chemical Engg., B.Sc. (Engg.) Energy Engg., B.Sc. (Engg.) Electrical Engg., B.Sc. (Engg.) Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, B.Sc. (Engg.) Industrial Engineering & Management, and other engineering programs. For College of Art & Design, Drawing/Aptitude Test (conducted separately) is mandatory. Separate admission notices and schedules for professional programs (e.g., Pharm-D) will be advertised on the University website.
