EOI: Outsourcing of Seed Processing Plant — University of Agriculture, Faisalabad

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputable, registered seed companies for outsourcing the seed processing plant at PARS Farms on Jhang Road, Faisalabad. The plant has an advertised capacity of up to 5 tones per hour and is being offered under the Quality Seed Project to establish academic–industrial linkages and strengthen seed sector capacity.

Scope for outsourced company

• Operate and manage the seed processing plant efficiently.
• Ensure routine maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Implement quality control and comply with seed certification standards.
• Maintain records and reporting of processing activities.
• Procure, promote and market seed and obtain feedback under co-branding arrangements with UAF.
• Sign an outsourcing agreement with UAF for 2 years (renewable) subject to satisfactory performance and mutually agreed financial arrangement.
• UAF will provide access to the plant and monitor routine activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• EOIs invited from registered seed companies.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in seed processing.
• Strong market presence and distribution network.
• Financial capacity to manage and scale operations.
• Commitment to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Application Guidelines & Required Documents

• Detailed company profile with valid certificate of registration.
• Details of qualified mechanical/electrical/engineering and managerial/supporting staff.
• Strategic business plan for operating the plant.
