National Tariff Commission (NTC) invites applications for multiple contract positions to support implementation of trade defence laws, investigations and economic research. Applicants must apply through the National Job Portal or the NTC website within 15 days of publication. Positions are on contract initially for one year; extension may be granted annually based on performance. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.

Skills in developing mathematical templates and analytical methodologies for normal value/export price, margin calculations, sector-specific audit instruments, injury analysis and conformity with WTO agreements. |
| Legal Consultant (Labour-based) | 1 | LLB/LLM or Juris Doctor (International Law) | 8–10 years experience in trade litigation, administrative law, WTO dispute settlement and domestic tribunals. Mastery of WTO Anti‑Dumping, Subsidies & Countervailing Measures, Safeguard Agreements; drafting, litigation strategy, representation before tribunals and higher courts, preparation of statements and written submissions. |
| Legal Assistant | 1 | Graduate, preferably a law graduate from an HEC-recognized institution | 3+ years preferred. Support preparation of responses, submissions, pleadings and legal documentation; manage court processes and related matters; inputs for litigation and appellate proceedings; legal research on domestic and international trade laws; maintain case files and progress reports. |
| Senior Economist / Econometric Expert | 1 | PhD / Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics (specialization in International Trade / Econometrics) | 10+ years in quantitative trade research and impact analysis of tariff changes; strong skills in econometric modelling and software (Stata/R/Matlab), CGE/partial equilibrium and related trade policy analysis, tariff optimisation, sectoral competitiveness and productivity analysis. |
