Ministry of National Food Security & Research / Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) invites applications for two senior research leadership positions: Member (Natural Resources) and Member (Animal Sciences) based in Islamabad. These are full-time management positions focused on strategic planning, implementation and management of agricultural research programs.

Member (Natural Resources)	01	Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university. First division or CGPA ≥ 3.00 in highest degree (with not more than one second division/Grade C in academic record). At least 20 years proven experience in R&D organizations or recognized institutions of research/higher learning (public/private sector), including management of multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and implementation of agricultural research programs; strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Member (Animal Sciences)	01	Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university. First division or CGPA ≥ 3.00 in highest degree (with not more than one second division/Grade C in academic record). Minimum 15 research publications in HEC-recognized refereed journals/books. At least 20 years proven experience in R&D organizations or recognized institutions of research/higher learning (public/private sector); experience managing multidisciplinary teams and research scientists. Proven leadership in planning, implementing and managing multidisciplinary agricultural research and ability to mobilize financial and human resources.

Other important information:

- Appointment is initially for three years, further extendable up to a maximum period of two years on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory performance. Maximum age limit: 62 years as per Management Position Scales Policy-2020 (as amended). Applicants must be Pakistani nationals and must not hold dual nationality.

- In-service / government servants must apply through proper channel and resign/seek retirement before joining if selected for the MP Scale position.
