NEPRA Notice: Atlas Energy Limited Seeks Concurrence for 500.34 kWp Rooftop Solar at Atlas Battery, Karachi

Issuer: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).

Purpose: Application by Atlas Energy Limited (AEnL) for grant of concurrence for a rooftop solar power generation facility to be installed at Atlas Battery Limited, D-181 Central Avenue, Sindh Industrial Trading Estate, Karachi, under Section 14B(5) of the Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power Act, 1997 (NEPRA Act).

AEnL (formerly Atlas Powergen Limited) is an unquoted public limited company incorporated on May 18, 2016 (Corporate Identification No. 0099710) with registered office in Lahore. AEnL intends to install the proposed generation facility within the premises of Atlas Battery Limited and sell the generated electricity under B2B arrangements.

Efficiency parameter: 23%.

Procedure & comments: NEPRA has registered the application and invites comments from stakeholders, including the general public and interested/affected parties, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication. Comments should be submitted to the office of the Registrar, NEPRA.
