Public Auction: Excise Duty (Welfare Cess) Collection Rights for Balochistan Minerals — July 2026

Issuer: Government of Balochistan / DPR Balochistan. Public auction is announced for one-year rights to recover excise duty (welfare cess) on various minerals extracted and transported by road in specified Balochistan areas. Auctions are scheduled in July 2026 for listed areas including Muslim Bagh, Qila Saifullah, Nushki and adjoining zones.

Key requirements: Separate call deposit required for each area; bank-certified deposit slip must accompany each deposit. Highest bidder must pay the specified advance/security portions (25% deposit requirement noted) within one week. Stamp duty at 0.28% applies. Contractors must be registered with the relevant welfare/registration authority, submit CNIC copy with deposit, pay government taxes, and present regulatory compliance certificates.
