GHQ Rawalpindi – Re-employment Opportunities for Retired/Retiring Army Officers as Civilian Gazetted Officers (CGOs)

Deputy Assistant Director, Civilian Personnel (CP) Directorate, GHQ Rawalpindi invites applications from retired, released or retiring Army officers (Lieutenant Colonels / Majors and equivalent) for re-employment as Civilian Gazetted Officers (CGOs) on contract.

Eligible candidates: Retired/released/retiring Army officers with relevant service experience and required professional/academic qualifications. Officers with adverse disciplinary records, involvement in misappropriation, compulsory discharge for inefficiency or unsuitable medical category are ineligible.

Vacancies and disciplines: Multiple CGO vacancies across a range of technical and specialist areas, including aviation (pilots, avionics/aircraft technicians), engineering/technical trades, medical/paramedical support, logistics/stores, and administration. Likely appointment stations include Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Tarbela, Multan, Quetta and Nowshera.

Term and selection: Appointments are initially for three years and may be extendable for one additional year based on performance and organizational requirement. Applicants will be required to appear before a Special Selection Board at GHQ Rawalpindi at their own expense.
