Independent System & Market Operator (ISMO) of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor on a contract basis. ISMO seeks a dynamic, qualified and experienced professional to lead internal audit, assurance and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities	Evaluate accounting, financial, credit and other operational activities as an independent appraisal function. Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls. Formulate internal audit programs covering all aspects of financial transactions and internal controls. Develop and lead a competent internal audit team and manage their discharge of duties. Maintain liaison with external/commercial auditors and coordinate with the Audit Committee and Board for special audits and investigations. Evaluate design and effectiveness of compliance functions.
Eligibility & Qualifications	Member of a recognized body of professional accountants qualifying CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed local or international university/institute. Minimum 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management or executive-level roles. Demonstrated expertise in auditing and risk management, designing internal control procedures, and effective financial reliability in public/private sector with understanding of governance, risks and controls (experience in SOEs or public-sector projects is an advantage). Must meet fit & proper criteria as defined under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
