Mashriqi Cooperative Housing Society Karachi — Election Notice & Meeting Agenda (Election on 2026-09-06)

Issuer: Government Cooperative Sub-Inspector / Authorized Election Officer, Mashriqi Cooperative Housing Society Ltd, Karachi. Purpose: Notice of meeting, agenda and schedule for the Society election and related procedures.

Venue & Election Day Timing: Rashid Minhas Road (opposite Imtiaz Store), Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Election day timings 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM; voting by secret ballot with counting and announcement of unofficial result after counting.

Eligibility & Nomination Instructions:

Members holding paid-up qualifying shares (Rs.500/-) under the Cooperative Societies Rules are eligible to file nomination papers for posts of President and Managing Committee members. Nomination forms are available from the Society office. Nomination papers must be accompanied by a photocopy of the candidate's CNIC and any required supporting documents.

Nomination submission, scrutiny and filing of objections occur during office hours; the notice specifies filing/scrutiny times around 11:15 AM to 2:15 PM. Withdrawals are allowed up to the published withdrawal date. Nomination forms without the official seal will not be accepted. Members should present valid original National Identity Card / ID for verification at the premises.

How to Apply / Participate: Obtain nomination form from the office of the Authorized Election Officer at the Society, submit completed form with CNIC copy and required fees (as per Society rules) within the published schedule. Follow instructions posted on the Society notice board.
