Punjab Highways Department Tender – Special Repair Rawat to Chakbeli Khan Road (Rawalpindi)

Issuer: Punjab Highways Department, Executive Engineer Highway Division Rawalpindi (notice issued under Superintending Engineer, Highway Circle No.1 Rawalpindi).

Purpose: Open e-tender (Single Stage Single Envelope) for Special Repair works on Rawat to Chakbeli Khan Road including construction of drain at Km 19.

Eligibility & Registration: Engineering firms/contractors holding a valid PEC license for 2026-27 and registered on the Punjab e-Procurement Portal and Punjab PPRA website may participate. All bid documents and guarantees must be submitted digitally via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Manual/physical submission (CDR, pay order, demand draft, physical guarantees, etc.) will not be accepted.

Bid Security & Financials: Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System (digital online payment in favour of Executive Engineer Highway Division Rawalpindi). Bids quoting rates in percentage above/below the estimated/DNIT cost will not be considered responsive. Recovery/adjustment for old material will be handled as per the notice.

Deadlines & Meetings: Deadline for uploading bids is 2026-09-21 by 12:00 PM. Contractors/authorized representatives may attend the pre-bid / tender opening on 2026-09-21 at 13:00 (01:00 PM) as per the tender notice. Final evaluation reports will be uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement Portal after scrutiny.

Important Conditions: Any contractor found submitting fake information/documents will be disqualified, blacklisted and recommended for further action. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids under PPRA Rules.

How to apply: Submit bids online only through the Punjab e-Procurement Portal (registration and submission procedures available on the Punjab e-Procurement and PPRA Punjab websites). Ensure all required documents and digital guarantees are uploaded before the stated closing time.
