Government of Pakistan has launched a Prime Minister’s Special Fuel Relief Scheme offering subsidized petrol (advertised as Rs.100 per litre cheaper). Registration is required to receive the relief for eligible petrol vehicles.

How to register: Register online at www.pmfuelrelief.pk or scan the QR code provided by the program. You can also use SMS services by contacting 9771 (use the published short code for registration/token receipt). Registration requires CNIC, vehicle plate number, province code and vehicle registration date.
Important dates: Residents of Islamabad can obtain petrol relief starting at midnight between 2023-09-14 and 2023-09-15 (12:00 AM). Nationwide distribution begins at midnight between 2023-09-16 and 2023-09-17 (12:00 AM).
