Issuer: Controller General of Accounts (CGA). This public notice announces a Digital Life Certificate facility for pensioners, introduced in collaboration with NADRA. Pensioners across Pakistan can now submit their Life Certificate from home using the NADRA Pak‑ID mobile application. After successful verification via Pak‑ID, the Life Certificate will be automatically updated in the pension record.
Purpose & eligibility: The facility is intended for all pensioners whose pensions are managed under the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), including those served through Federal and Provincial Accounts Offices. Pensioners who can use a smartphone and the Pak‑ID app can complete the process online. Key actions & notes:
- Pensioners should install and use the NADRA Pak‑ID mobile application to submit Life Certificates remotely.
- After successful online verification the Life Certificate will be updated automatically and pensioners will no longer need to visit a bank for submission.
