MEPCO Request for Bids – Rehabilitation of 46 Nos. 11kV Feeders (Installation, Testing, Commissioning & Civil Works)

Employer: Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO). Project: Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP), financed by the World Bank (IBRD-9318-PK). Contract: Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Civil Works for Rehabilitation of 46 Nos. 11kV Feeders (lot-wise). RFB No.: PK-MEPCO-56289-GW-RFB.

Bidding procedure: One-envelope bidding process (WITHOUT PREQUALIFICATION). National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for Borrowers (dated November 2020). Eligible bidders may submit sealed bids for one or more lots. Electronic bidding is not permitted.

Bid security: At least PKR 1,000,000 (One million Pakistani Rupees) for each lot.

How to obtain documents and clarifications: Bidders may download the Bidding Documents in English at no cost from MEPCO's website. Clarification requests and correspondence may be sent by email to [email protected]. For further information bidders may contact the Chief Engineer (Development), PMU MEPCO, at the MEPCO office in Multan during office hours.

Submission: Sealed bids must be delivered to the address of the Chief Engineer (Development), PMU MEPCO, 1st Floor, MEPCO Circle Building, Khanewal Road, Multan, Pakistan. Late bids will be rejected.

Notes: Bidders must comply with the eligibility and qualification requirements set out in the Bidding Documents. All bids must be accompanied by the required bid security and a signed statement regarding compliance with safeguards (e.g., Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) declarations) as specified in the documents.
