| Minimum Qualification | Master’s degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Management Sciences, Agronomy, Food Safety, Veterinary Science, Microbiology, Plant Protection, Public Health, Trade/Economics or a related field from an HEC‑recognized institution. |
| Experience | Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role in public or private sector. Demonstrated record of institutional leadership, regulatory or standards development, and multi‑disciplinary program management. |
| Key responsibilities |
Serve as Chief Executive and Secretary to the Board of Governors; lead operationalization of NAFSA; establish regulatory systems, standards and SOPs; build institutional capacity; drive export market access and SPS compliance; represent NAFSA nationally and internationally. |
| Reporting / Selection | Reports to the Board of Governors (through the Chairperson). Selection by the Board / NAFSA selection process. |
