Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for two Assistant Vice President (AVP) positions on a term contract basis at its Head Office in Islamabad. Candidates must meet the educational and experience requirements and apply online via PMDC's careers portal.

Additional HR certifications preferred. | Minimum 12 years of progressive post-qualification HR experience in public/private sector organizations with expertise in HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement, compensation & reward, industrial relations and HR operations. | Up to 45 years by the closing date. |
Key responsibilities (selected highlights)
AVP – ESG: Lead PMDC's ESG and sustainability strategy aligned with international frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB); oversee HSE initiatives across operational sites; drive emission reduction, energy efficiency and legal compliance; manage ESG data, reporting and quarterly/annual reports; stakeholder and community engagement; conduct audits, safety inspections and liaison with regulators (e.g., EPA, NDMA, Rescue 1122).
AVP – HR & Branding: Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business objectives; act as strategic HR advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational design and HR risks; lead talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, performance & reward systems; formulate HR policies and strengthen HR systems, processes and digital solutions; manage employee relations and HR metrics.
