National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the senior management post of Group Chief, Inclusive Development Group (SEVP) based in Karachi. This is a contractual Senior Management appointment (three years with possible renewal) to lead NBP’s inclusive finance, SME, agriculture and sustainable finance initiatives.

| Minimum Qualification | Minimum Bachelor’s degree from HEC-recognized local or international university/college in Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Management or related discipline. Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications in Development Finance/Inclusive Finance/SME/Agricultural Finance/Sustainable Finance preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 18 years of work experience, of which at least 12 years in banking/financial sector. Required leadership experience: either 8+ years as Head of SME or Agri and/or Commercial business, or 5+ years as Head of Retail Banking. Preference for candidates with experience managing diversified banking portfolios, SME & agriculture financing, green & sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement, governance and board-level oversight. |
| Key Responsibilities | Provide leadership for NBP’s inclusive finance strategy; formulate and implement initiatives for SME, agriculture, commercial & microfinance; support sustainable & green finance, climate-smart agriculture and financial inclusion programs; oversee divisions and portfolio delivery; develop partnerships with DFIs, donors and government programs; ensure achievement of business targets and governance standards. |
| Employment Type & Terms | Contractual appointment for three years (renewable). Senior Management compensation and terms are competitive and negotiable; only shortlisted candidates will be invited for panel interview; no TA/DA will be admissible for interview. |
