Punjab Highway Department, Executive Engineer Road Construction Division Rawalpindi invites bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for multiple road construction, improvement and rehabilitation schemes. Eligible engineering firms/contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and registered on the Punjab PPRA/e-Procurement portal may participate.
Key instructions and procurement conditions:
- All bids must be submitted online via the Punjab e-Procurement Portal. Manual/physical submission of bids, bid securities or guarantees will not be accepted.
- Bid Security: 5% of the estimated cost (Digital online payment via Punjab e-Procurement System with Bank of Punjab in favour of Executive Engineer Road Construction Division Rawalpindi) to be uploaded by the bid closing time.
- Performance Guarantee: 10% of the contract amount from the successful bidder within 15 days of award (acceptable forms: CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier Cheque, Pay Order or Bank Guarantee; valid for 03 months beyond completion time / extended completion time).
- Firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category/codes and be registered on the Punjab PPRA/e-Procurement website. No Joint Venture is permitted. All claims and correspondence shall be submitted electronically.
