Punjab Highways Department Tender — Rehabilitation of Road (Highway Division Jhang)

Punjab Highways Department (Own Source Receipts Schemes) invites sealed/e‑tenders from eligible Engineering Firms / Contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and registered on the Punjab e‑procurement (PPRA e‑tendering) portal to execute highway works under Highway Division, Jhang. Firms must have valid PEC registration and departmental registration on the Punjab e‑procurement website.

Key submission & eligibility points:

• Only firms/contractors registered with PEC may participate. Registration on the Punjab e‑procurement portal is required; contractors must submit necessary registration documentation online as instructed by the Punjab e‑procurement system.
• Bids must include earnest money / bid security as required under PPRA rules. A performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount is required within 15 days of issuance of the letter of acceptance as per PPRA Rule 2014 (Performance Guarantee).
• Bid documents are available and bids must be submitted through the PPRA e‑tendering system. Tenders will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
• Work monitoring, testing, recoveries and contract administration will be governed by the PPRA rules and the contract conditions; the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Jhang is the issuing authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids as per rules.
