Important Terms & Conditions
1. Only retired employees who have previously worked in the above categories are eligible for contract appointment.
2. Contract period: one year, extendable further for one year if required.
3. Selected retired employees must pass medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for interview or medical examination.
5. Employees retired on compulsory removal, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible.
6. Selected retired employees will be paid salary according to last pay drawn (BPS-06, BPS-09, BPS-11, BPS-12 & BPS-14) along with usual allowances; they will not be entitled to gratuity or pension benefits for the contract.
7. Selected employees may be posted anywhere within the Railway System.
8. The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept/reject any application or vary the number of posts without assigning any reason.

- Photocopy of LPC
- Service certificate
- Three (03) fresh passport-size photographs
- Three (03) postal envelopes (with RAD card) and complete address & cell number written thereon

Submit applications with complete data and attested copies of required documents along with a Postal Order of Rs. 500 in favour of the issuing authority. Applications must reach Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore not later than 2026-10-15.
