Pakistan Railways Headquarters (Lahore) – Contract Vacancies for Retired Supervisory Staff

Pakistan Railways, Headquarter Office Lahore invites applications from retired supervisory staff of Carriage & Wagon and Mechanical Loco departments for contract appointments (one year, extendable). Maximum age 62. Engagements are on contract basis from suitable retired employees subject to physical fitness.

Key details: Contract period: 1 year (extendable). Maximum age: 62 years. No TA/DA for interview/medical. Selected candidates must pass medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital. Only retired employees who previously served in the advertised categories are eligible. Appointments limited to the entire Railway System; selected retirees will draw salary according to last pay scale (examples shown BS-06 up to BS-14) with usual allowances but no gratuity/pension distribution.

• Only retired employees who have worked in the above categories are eligible for contract appointment.
• Selected retired employees will be required to pass medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
• No TA/DA will be paid to retired employees called for interview and medical examination.
• Selected retired employees will draw salary according to their last pay drawn (as per mentioned BS levels) with usual allowances but will not be entitled to gratuity/pension distribution.
