Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore invites applications from suitably retired supervisory employees of Carriage & Wagon and Mechanical Loco Departments for engagement on contract basis for one year (extendable if required). Maximum age limit: 62 years. Selected candidates will be required to pass a medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital. Application fee: Postal Order of Rs. 500/-.

Important Terms & Conditions
1. Only retired employees who have worked in the listed categories are eligible for contract appointment. The contract period is one year and can be extended further for one year if required.
2. Selected retired employees will be required to pass a medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital. No TA/DA will be paid to retired employees called for interview or medical examination.
3. Persons retired compulsorily, removed, dismissed or retired on medical ground are not eligible.
4. Selected retired employees will draw salary as per last pay drawn along with usual allowances (refer to published BPS details).
Documents Required
Typed applications with complete bio-data must be accompanied by attested copies of:
- Educational certificates
- National Identity Card (Computerized)
- Railway retired identity card / Experience certificate
- Photocopy of PPO
- Photocopy of LPC
- Service certificate
- Three (03) recent passport-size photographs
- Three (03) self-addressed envelopes (with complete address and cell number) and a Postal Order of Rs. 500/-
