Pakistan Railways (Headquarters Lahore) — Contract Vacancies for Retired Supervisory Staff

Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Lahore invites applications from retired supervisory staff of Carriage & Wagon and Locomotive departments for contract appointments (one year, extendable). Applicants must be retired personnel who have previously worked in the relevant categories and will be required to pass a medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital. No TA/DA will be paid for interview/medical. Selected retirees will be posted anywhere in the Railway System and will draw pay according to their last basic pay scale; they will not be entitled to retirement gratuity or pension.

Application & Documents: Submit applications with attested copies of required certificates and testimonials plus a Postal Order of Rs. 500. Required documents include educational certificates, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), Railway retired identity/experience certificate, copy of PPO, service certificate, recent passport-size photographs and self-addressed stamped envelopes with contact number.

Other notes: Only retired employees who have worked in the advertised categories are eligible. Compulsory retirees dismissed or retired on medical grounds are not eligible. The Competent Authority may reject any application or change the number of posts without assigning a reason.
