Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed tenders for construction and transmission works for the 2026-27 financial year. Bids will be submitted and opened through the E-Pads system (version 2.0 / PPRA website).

Who can participate: Contractors with valid PEC registration renewed for the year 2026-27 in the relevant category; meet average annual turnover requirements supported by tax returns and audited accounts; provide current bank statement and proof of experience with required work completion certificates.

Earnest Money / Bid Security: Original bid security valid for 120 days in the shape of Bank Draft, Pay Order, CDR or Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan @ 2% of BOQ cost must be supplied with the bid. The successful bidder will submit 10% of the Contract Price as performance security after issuance of the Letter of Intent.
Other conditions: Tender documents are available via E-Pads (new version 2.0) and on PPRA & GEPCO websites. Contractors must attach active registration certificates (PRA for PST where applicable), company profile proving related Grid Station & Transmission Line experience for the last five years, and an authority letter on Rs.100 judicial stamp for representatives collecting/participating in the tender. Cutting/overwriting is not allowed. Tender rates must be filled in figures and words and signed. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders as per PPRA Rules.
