Election Commission Notice to Technology Movement of Pakistan Party — Hearing on 2026-07-08 for Failure to Hold Intra-Party Elections

The Election Commission of Pakistan has notified the Technology Movement of Pakistan Party that it failed to hold the required intra-party elections due on 2026-02-23. The ECP had directed the party by letter dated 2025-12-17 (Ref. Confd-2021 (12) 2) and issued a show-cause notice on 2026-03-16; the party did not respond or appear at the hearing fixed for 2026-06-18.

The party is informed that a hearing before the Election Commission is scheduled for 2026-07-08. The party must submit the relevant intra-party election documents to the ECP office as required under Sections 208 and 209 of the Elections Act, 2017; otherwise action will be taken under Section (5)202 of the Elections Act, 2017.
