The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has admitted an application for adjustment of the tariff component in respect of 52.8 MW Sapphire Wind Power Company Limited under the NEPRA (Tariff Standards and Procedure) Rules, 1998. Stakeholders, interested/affected persons and the general public are informed and may attend the hearing.
Salient features of the tariff petition:

| O&M Component | Fixed at Rs. 5.0377/kWh as reference and indexed from April–June 2025 quarter per the revised mechanism; PKR/USD depreciation allowed up to 70% of actual annual depreciation (100% passed to consumer if PKR appreciates vs USD in a year). |
| Return on Equity (ROE) | Revised to 15.725% and locked at the PKR/USD exchange rate prevailing at the effective date (i.e. October 10, 2025). Thereafter no further exchange rate indexation for PKR/USD depreciation on ROE; if PKR appreciates in a quarter, 100% of appreciation passed to consumers. |
| Insurance Component | After the effective date (October 10, 2025) the insurance component shall be revised to be paid as actual or 0.4% of allowed EPC cost, whichever is lower. |
