Final Show Cause Notice to Constable Muhammad Waqas (AF-1230) — ANF Coastal, Balochistan

The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Regional Directorate Anti-Narcotics Force, Balochistan, has issued a final show cause notice to AF-1230 Constable Muhammad Waqas (BPS-08) for alleged willful absence from duty and misconduct. He is charged under Section 9 of the Anti-Narcotics Force Act 1997 read with the Punjab Police (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules 1975; inquiry proceedings were initiated under cited orders dated 09 Feb 2026 and 05 Mar 2028.

Constable Waqas was posted from RD ANF Punjab to RD ANF Coastal on 14 Nov 2025, relieved from RD ANF Punjab on 23 Jan 2026 and directed to report at RD ANF Coastal on 06 Feb 2026 but is recorded absent with effect from 06 Feb 2026 to date. He is called upon to submit a written statement within ten days of publication in the press, failing which ex-parte proceedings may lead to penalties including removal from service.
