Election Commission Notice to Technology Movement of Pakistan — Hearing for Failure to Hold Intra-Party Elections (2026-07-08)

The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a public notice to the Technology Movement of Pakistan party for failing to hold mandated intra-party elections. The party last held intra-party elections on 2021-02-23 and was directed by the ECP on 2025-12-17 (letter Conf-2021(12)2) to conduct elections on 2026-02-23. A show-cause notice was issued on 2026-03-16; the party did not reply and did not appear at the scheduled hearing on 2026-06-18.

The matter has been advertised for hearing at the Election Commission on 2026-07-08. The party is instructed to submit all documents relating to its intra-party election to the ECP office as required under Sections 208 and 209 of the Election Act, 2017.
