NEPRA Notice of Hearing — Semi‑Annual Review of Incremental Consumption Package (ICP) on 2026-10-05

National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has scheduled a public hearing to consider the semi‑annual review of the Incremental Consumption Package (ICP) and related tariff and billing matters. Stakeholders and interested parties may participate in person at NEPRA Tower or online.

The hearing will examine the semi‑annual review of the ICP approved on 09 December 2025, including: whether the currently applicable ICP rate of Rs.22.98/kWh should be revised upward to reflect actual marginal cost; the effective month for any upward revision (billing month of June 2026, October 2026, or another period); whether the package should remain temporary or be made permanent; and other related adjustments and tariff implementation matters. NEPRA will also consider information submitted by the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) and any other stakeholder filings pertinent to hourly generation, month‑wise consumption, benefited consumption, and hourly system marginal cost.
