Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL) invites applications for the position of Chief Medical Officer on a contractual basis. Applicants should meet the specified qualifications, experience and age limit.

Position	Chief Medical Officer (contractual)
Qualifications	MBBS from a HEC-recognized institute; MCPS Family Medicine or equivalent foreign qualification or Higher Qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine will be a plus.
Experience	Minimum three (03) years' experience in healthcare administration of a corporate set-up, company or hospital as of closing date of applications.
Key responsibilities	Visit PRCL head office daily for assigned duties; scrutinize medical files and bills of panel hospitals. Verify and countersign medical reimbursement claims of PRCL employees and family members. Attend patients for consultations as per PRCL HR Manual and provide referrals and medical advice. Carry out medical examination of newly recruited employees and refer patients to panel hospitals/approved specialists when required. Conduct random visits to panel hospitals and liaise with hospital authorities for patient treatment. Provide technical assistance to the Administration Department regarding medical matters. Assist PRCL in implementing medical rules/regulations and policies for medical attendance.
Terms & conditions	Selection on merit in accordance with advertised criteria. Initial appointment for two years, extendable subject to mutual agreement and competent authority approval. Age limit: maximum 50 years on closing date of applications. Selected candidate will be paid a fixed monthly consultancy fee to be mutually decided in interview; may require travel within or outside Pakistan subject to prior approval.
