Election Commission Show Cause Notice to Farzand Hussain Shah for Non‑submission of Senate Election Expenses Return (Form‑C)

Election Commission of Pakistan, Political Finance Wing issued a show cause notice dated 30 September 2026 to Farzand Hussain Shah, S/O Dewan Haider Shah, for failure to submit the return of election expenses required under Section 134(1) of the Elections Act, 2017 in respect of the Senate elections held on 02-04-2024.

The notice states that as a contesting candidate for a general seat from the Federal Capital you were legally obligated to submit your election expense return on the prescribed Form‑C within thirty (30) days of the date of publication of the name of the returned candidate, and that you have failed to do so. You are directed to submit the prescribed Form‑C along with an explanation/clarification within seven (07) days from the date of publication of this notice.
