Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), Ministry of Commerce, invites applications for the post of Chief Medical Officer on a contractual basis. Candidates must meet the qualifications, experience and age limit specified.

Position	Chief Medical Officer (contract)
Qualifications	MBBS from an institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. MCPS (Family Medicine) or equivalent, or FCPS/Higher qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine considered a plus.
Experience	Minimum three (03) years' experience in healthcare administration of a corporate set-up, company or hospital as of the closing date of applications.
Key Responsibilities	Daily visiting and scrutiny of medical files, bills of panel hospitals. Verification and countersigning of medical reimbursement claims of PRCL employees and their families. Attending panels for consultations as per PRCL HR Manual; issuing reference letters and other clinical advice as required. Conducting medical examinations of newly recruited employees and referring patients to panel hospitals/approved specialists as needed. Providing technical assistance to the Administration Department regarding medical facilities and assisting PRCL in implementing medical rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or authorized officer.
Terms & Conditions	Initial appointment for two years, extendable by mutual agreement and subject to approval of the competent authority. Remuneration: fixed consultancy fee per month to be decided at interview commensurate with experience. Selected candidate will report to the Chief Administration Officer (CAO) or authorized officer. Role may require travelling within or outside Pakistan subject to prior approval by the CEO. Maximum age limit: 50 years on the closing date of applications.
Important Notes	Original academic/professional documents will be required at the time of interview. Applicants working in the public sector must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview. PRCL reserves the right to stop the hiring process at any stage or to cancel the selection without assigning any reason.
