Election Commission Notice to Technology Movement of Pakistan: Hearing on 2026-07-08 for Failure to Hold Intra-Party Elections

The Election Commission of Pakistan has notified the Technology Movement of Pakistan that it failed to conduct its required intra-party elections after the last polls held on 2021-02-23. A show-cause notice was issued on 2026-03-16; the matter was taken up before the Commission on 2026-06-18 but the party did not appear or file a reply.

The Commission informs the party to submit relevant intra-party election documents to the office as required under Sections 208 and 209 of the Elections Act, 2017. A hearing is scheduled before the Commission on 2026-07-08. Failure to comply may result in action under Section 2025 of the Elections Act, 2017 and issuance of appropriate orders.
