Open Auction of Confiscated Goods & Vehicles — Collectorate of Customs, Quetta

Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement), Custom House, Airport Road, Quetta announces open auctions of confiscated goods and vehicles under Chapter V of SRO 450(1)/2001 dated 18-06-2001. Auctions will be held at the yards listed below; buyers must follow the Customs Act, 1969 and Customs Rules, 2001.

Key conditions:

- Refundable call deposit Rs. 25,000 payable in favor of Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Quetta prior to participation.

- Successful bidder must pay 25% of the bid on the spot; remaining 75% within 7 days of display of approved lots on the Notice Board.

- Successful bidders who are NTN holders must deposit 10% of the bid amount as advance Income Tax separately.

- Confiscated goods/vehicles may be inspected during office hours at the location specified against each lot.

- Auctioneer/Collector reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning a reason; incomplete auctions may continue the next day until finalization.

- On auction day participants must bring original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

- Sealed highest bids may be submitted in advance: include lot number, copy of CNIC and earnest money in the form of a bank pay order; sealed bids will be opened in front of bidders at the time of auction.
