Pre-Qualification Notice: Procurement of Explosion‑Proof Detector, PPE and Air Compressor for Port Qasim Power Plant

Port Qasim Electric Power Company (Private) Limited invites pre-qualification applications for the procurement of equipment and protective supplies for the Port Qasim Coal‑fired Power Plant.

Key bidder qualifications: legally registered independent legal entity with capacity to sign and perform contracts; valid corporate registration documents; not subject to bid restriction or blacklisting by relevant Pakistani authorities; registered in Pakistan with qualifications for conducting commercial business in Pakistan; ability to accept Pakistani Rupee (PKR) for contract settlement and payment; proven track record supplying materials for power station projects in Pakistan (supporting contracts and delivery certificates required). Joint venture bidding is NOT accepted. Bidders already on the company’s Approved Vendor List (AVL) need only submit an expression of interest via the designated email and are exempt from resubmitting the full pre‑qualification documents.

Required submission documents include identity document of the company’s legal representative; power of attorney signed by the legal representative if an authorized agent is appointed; full legal name of bidder, company registration number, name of contact person, contact telephone number and valid email address to be clearly stated in the email body.

Submission instructions: Interested prospective bidders shall send complete application documents by email to chenhou [email protected]. Email subject format: [Pre qualification Application Procurement of Hand held Explosion proof Detector & PPE {Full Name of Bidder}]. Submission deadline: 2026-10-07 at 10:00 AM (Pakistan Local Time). Applications submitted after the deadline will be rejected without review.

Pre‑qualification results will be notified to each applicant by email. Only applicants who pass pre‑qualification will be eligible to participate in the subsequent formal competitive bidding. The procuring entity reserves the right to adjust, modify, partially or wholly cancel the procurement project; all submitted pre‑qualification documents will not be returned.
