Issuer: Daanish University is recruiting its founding Director Finance to build and lead the University’s finance function in Islamabad.

| Essential Qualification | A professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACMA, or CPA) OR a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance) or a related field. Degree(s) must be from an HEC-recognized university/institution. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Professional accountancy qualification and certifications in public financial management, procurement, or IT/systems. |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in finance and accounting; preferably experience as CFO, Director Finance, or Head of Finance. Proven record of setting up financial systems and controls and implementing ERP finance/procurement modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage). Strong command of IFRS/IPSAS, taxation, audit, and PPRA rules. Experience in higher education, trusts, not-for-profits, or the public sector is highly preferred. |
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing the financial management system from scratch (chart of accounts, policies, SOPs, internal controls), leading the finance and procurement modules of the University ERP, building a digital-first, paperless finance function, budgeting, treasury and cash management, timely reporting, compliance, audit and risk management, and building a high-performing finance and procurement team.
