Final Notice to Assistant Registrar to Report for Duty — Bacha Khan University, Charsadda

Registrar, Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, has issued a final public notice directing Dr. Hamid Ali Khan, Assistant Registrar (Establishment) (BPS-17), to resume his duties at Bacha Khan University, Charsadda within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice.

The notice records that Dr. Hamid Ali Khan was granted Extraordinary Leave (EOL) and subsequent extensions for post‑doctoral studies in the USA, remained on leave for 550 days, and later submitted an application for half pay leave which was rejected. The Syndicate directed him to join duties within fourteen days (Notification No. 2604/Estt/Reg/BKUC/2026 dated 23.04.2026) and thereafter declined to accept his resignation while directing him to report for duty within the stipulated period (Notification No. 4107/Estt/BKUC/2026 dated 06.07.2026). A final registered letter (No. 6090/Estt/Reg/BKUC/2026 dated 11.09.2026) required him to resume duty within fifteen days, but he failed to comply.

Consequences: Failure to report within fifteen (15) days from publication will be treated as willful absence and may lead to an ex‑parte decision and major penalty including removal from service under the Bacha Khan University Employees Efficiency & Discipline Statutes.
