Disciplinary Proceedings Notice: Sergeant‑at‑Arms Muhammad Ishfaq Ashraf

Issuer: National Assembly Secretariat (HR Management Wing), Islamabad. Purpose: Initiation of disciplinary proceedings under the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020 against Mr. Muhammad Ishfaq Ashraf, Sergeant‑at‑Arms (BPS‑20), on allegations including misconduct, grave corruption and unauthorized absence.

Charge Sheet: Charge Sheet No. G(561)/HRM‑I.V‑II dated 2026‑10‑06. Mr. Ishfaq Ashraf is required to report for duty immediately and to submit a written defence to the charges within fourteen (14) days from the date of publication of this notice. Failure to submit a defence will be taken as either having nothing to offer or having declined to offer a defence, and the inquiry may proceed ex‑parte in accordance with the applicable rules.

The Inquiry Order, Charge Sheet and Statement of Allegations have been: dispatched to the residential address (Flat No. 45, MNA Hostel, Islamabad) by special messenger; displayed on the Notice Board of the National Assembly Secretariat; sent to the recipient's email addresses; shared via WhatsApp on the numbers 0317‑3235735 and 0304‑7500079; and uploaded to the National Assembly Secretariat website at the provided NA.gov.pk URL.
