Purpose: Fresh recruitment process for the post of Director General, Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE). The earlier advertisement published on 23 August 2026 has been withdrawn and a fresh advertisement is issued; applicants to the earlier advertisement must submit a fresh application against this advertisement.

Appointment: Contract basis initially for three (3) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority.

Eligibility & Procedure: Terms of reference (job description, specification, deliverables with timelines) and shortlisting criteria will apply in case more than fifteen (15) eligible candidates apply. Qualified and eligible candidates must apply online through the National Job Portal (http://njp.gov.pk/) within fifteen (15) days of this advertisement. Other conditions: Applications received after the closing date or incomplete applications will not be entertained. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA will be admissible. Terms and conditions of MP Scales Policy, 2020 and subsequent amendments shall apply.
