National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is seeking an experienced Head of Internal Audit to lead and strengthen the Authority’s internal audit function, provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, controls and compliance, and deliver strategic recommendations to Management and the Audit Committee.

| Educational Requirements | Chartered Accountant (ICAP/ICAEW), ACCA, ACMA or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field from an HEC-recognized university (degrees must be attested by HEC). |
| Professional Experience | Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, governance or compliance with at least 5 years in a senior internal audit leadership role. Experience in large public-sector, corporate, financial or technology-driven organizations preferred. |
| Preferred Certifications | Internal audit certifications such as CISA, CIA or equivalent. |
| Key Responsibilities | Lead NADRA’s internal audit function; develop and execute risk-based annual audit plan aligned with International/Internal Audit Standards; conduct financial, operational, IT, forensic, performance and compliance audits; verify compliance with government rules and Public Procurement Rules (PPRA); prepare high-quality audit reports for Management and Audit Committee; evaluate internal control effectiveness and recommend improvements; build audit capability including IT audit and forensics; ensure independence and objectivity of the audit function; coordinate with external auditors, regulators and oversight bodies. |
| Skills & Competencies | Strong command over internal audit methodologies and risk-based auditing; knowledge of government rules, procurement laws and compliance frameworks; high integrity, professional judgment, report-writing, communication and stakeholder management skills; leadership experience managing multidisciplinary audit teams; familiarity with AI-enabled auditing, digital audit tools and data analytics is an advantage. |
