NUMS Centralized Admissions Open for MBBS & BDS Session 2026-27 — Apply by 2026-11-11

National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), Islamabad invites centralized applications for admission to MBBS and BDS programs for the 2026-27 session for NUMS constituent, affiliated and Armed Forces administered medical & dental colleges. Passing NUMS MDCAT 2026 (held 13 September 2026) is mandatory; pass percentage required is 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.

Eligibility highlights: Pakistani citizens (including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan), dual nationals and overseas Pakistanis may apply. Minimum 60% aggregate in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent (IBCC equivalence for A-Level/12th Grade) in at least three subjects including Biology and Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. Foreign/overseas categories (green card, Iqama, etc.) may apply on foreign seats as specified by NUMS. Weightage formula: Entrance test (NUMS MDCAT/valid MCAT/UCAT) 50%, HSSC/F.Sc 40%, SSC/Matric 10%.

Application fees and method: Apply online at www.numspak.edu.pk. Online registration fees (non-refundable): regular fee Rs 5,000 (Open Merit) / Rs 50,000 (Self‑Finance). Late registration attracts higher non‑refundable fees as published on the NUMS website. Required documents include CNIC/NICOP/Passport for applicants aged 18 and above; for applicants below 18, Form-B/Junior Form is mandatory. Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide IBCC equivalence where applicable.

How to apply: Visit the NUMS admission portal, complete the online application and upload required documents. Follow the admission schedule and submission instructions on the NUMS website. Admissions will be made on open merit and designated quotas through the centralized process.
