Issuer: Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan — US‑Pakistan Knowledge Corridor project. Purpose: Fully funded PhD scholarships for Pakistan/AJK nationals for study at QS‑ranked US universities (top 100 QS World Ranked US universities). The scholarship covers tuition (as per category), annual stipend and health insurance. The scholarship is only for PhD programmes (does not include MS/Masters leading to PhD).
Eligibility and conditions:
- Pakistani / AJK nationals only.
- Minimum 4‑year bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc/BE or 16 years formal education).
- A maximum of one second division (or equivalent) throughout academic career is permissible.
- Age limit on closing date: 40 years for regular government employees, regular faculty members of public sector universities & government colleges, or regular researchers of approved R&D organizations; 35 years for all other applicants.
- Must not be receiving any other scholarship.
- Applicants must have secured admission in an eligible QS‑ranked US university in the relevant category; valid GRE General Score (minimum 300 in total) OR HEC HAT Score (minimum 60%).
