Election Commission Notice to Technology Movement of Pakistan — Hearing Scheduled 2026-07-08

The Election Commission of Pakistan notifies the Technology Movement of Pakistan that it failed to hold the required intra-party elections due on 2026-02-23 after the last polls held on 2021-02-23. The Commission issued a letter dated 2025-12-17 instructing the party to conduct elections and served a showcause notice on 2026-03-16; the party did not respond or appear for the matter initially listed for hearing.

The Commission has scheduled a hearing on 2026-07-08 at its office. The party is directed to submit the relevant intra-party election documents as required under Sections 208 and 209 of the Elections Act, 2017; otherwise action will be taken under Section (5)202 Elections Act 2017.
