The Office of the Commissioner Karachi Division has issued a third and final show-cause notice to Imran Chandio, Daftari, Commissioner Office Karachi, currently under suspension. The notice is dated 23 July 2026 and bears reference CK/GNS/ESTT/138/2026-869.
Syed Hassan Naqvi, Commissioner Karachi Division, acting as the authorized officer under Rule 4-A read with Sub-Rule (3) of Rule 5 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency & Disciplinary) Rules, 1973, calls upon Imran Chandio to answer allegations of misconduct within the meaning of Rule 2(d) of those rules.

The authorized officer considers that sufficient evidence is available against him and that an inquiry through an inquiry officer or inquiry committee is unnecessary. The proposed penalty is removal from service under Rule 4(1)(b)(iii) of the relevant rules. Imran Chandio is required to show cause why this action should not be taken against him.
His explanation must reach the undersigned in duplicate within seven days of receipt of the notice, together with any supporting evidence or material he wishes to submit in his defence. He may also indicate whether he wishes to be heard in person.
