Mukhtiarkar Kot Ghulam Muhammad Publishes Restored Land Records for Deh 348-A

The Office of the Mukhtiarkar (Revenue), Kot Ghulam Muhammad announces the restoration and revised verification of landholding entries for Deh 348-A, Tapedar Jalalabad, Taluka Kot Ghulam Muhammad, District Mirpurkhas. The public notice bears reference No. Revenue/95 and is dated 28 October 2026.

The notice states that the Record of Rights for Sindh was last verified and authenticated in 1985–1986 under Section 40 of the Sindh Land Revenue Act, 1967. The Board of Revenue, Sindh, has initiated a special exercise to update and computerize the Record of Rights to maintain an accurate, reliable and standardized provincial land record. Verification and authentication are being undertaken through the procedural framework prescribed under Section 42 of the Act.

The landholding particulars for Deh 348-A have been restored following the loss of the relevant record in connection with the assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed. The published entries identify landholders and their parentage, shares, survey numbers, individual land areas and total holdings.

Anyone disputing ownership, survey numbers, land area or any other relevant landholding particulars must submit a written objection to the Office of the Mukhtiarkar or the Assistant Commissioner, Kot Ghulam Muhammad. In the absence of objections within the prescribed objection period, the record will be updated in the names of the respective stakeholders in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
