District Council Gujranwala E-Tender for Road Rehabilitation and Electric Bus Shelters

The Chief Officer, District Council Gujranwala, invites sealed electronic tenders from contractors registered with the Punjab E-Procurement System (E-PADS) and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant categories and codes for development works under the financial year 2026–27 budget allocation. Scheme estimates are based on MRS, second biannual 2026.

Tender and bidding documents must be downloaded from the Punjab E-Procurement System portal. Bids must be uploaded and submitted online through the system dashboard by 18 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened online and physically on the same day at 2:00 PM in the Hall of District Council Gujranwala, in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives before the Tender Opening Committee.

All participating contractors and firms must submit bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost online through E-PADS, using the system’s prescribed electronic mechanisms or modes.

Conditional tenders will not be entertained. Selection will be based on the least-cost method. Submission of forged documents or bid security will result in legal action against the contractor or participant under applicable laws and rules.

Successful bidders offering rates more than 4.99% below the technically sanctioned estimated cost must deposit additional performance security under PPRA Works Rules 2017 within the stipulated period after acceptance of their bids. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the deposited money without further notice.

The tender notice is available on the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTenders.aspx. The response period will be calculated exclusively from the date of publication on the PPRA website. Contractors must execute the works in accordance with PPRA Rules and E-PADS regulations.
