GEPCO Tender for Recycling Copper Winding Scrap in Gujranwala

Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites sealed tenders for recycling mixed damaged HT/LT copper winding scrap into enamelled copper wire and paper-covered copper strips of different sizes. Procurement will follow the single-stage, one-envelope procedure through E-PADS.

Registered or prequalified firms with a sound track record in supplying enamelled copper wire and paper-covered copper strips to DISCOs, NTDC or WAPDA may participate. Work must comply with WAPDA specifications, including amendments issued to date. Size-wise quantities and specifications will be provided when the letter of intent is issued. The work involves an exchange arrangement and free delivery to the Regional Store GEPCO, 132-kV Grid Station Shaheenabad, Gujranwala.

Submission deadline: 26 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Tender opening: 26 November 2026 at 11:30 AM. Tender documents can be downloaded through E-PADS or the PPRA website at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted through E-PADS, with the original manual bid guarantee or CDR submitted to the undersigned.

Bids must remain valid for 120 days from the opening date and include a bid guarantee or CDR valid for 150 days, issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan. Firms must be on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayers List. Conditional tenders and tenders without a bid guarantee will not be accepted. GEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids under PPRA rules.
