Sindh College Education Department Final Show-Cause Notice to Lecturer Muhammad Irfan

The Government of Sindh, College Education Department, has issued a final show-cause notice to Muhammad Irfan, Lecturer in Psychology (BPS-17), S.M. Government Arts and Commerce College No. 2, Karachi. The notice is dated 16 October 2026 and bears reference No. SO(HR-I)M-710/2013.

A previous show-cause notice was issued on 11 September 2026. The department states that Muhammad Irfan has failed to submit a response and remains continuously absent from government service, constituting negligence and a violation of applicable rules.

The department proposes the major penalty of dismissal from service under Rule 4(1)(b)(iii) of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973.

Muhammad Irfan is directed to submit his response within seven days of receiving this final show-cause notice. Failure to respond will result in the proposed major penalty being imposed. He must also inform the department whether he wishes to attend a personal hearing.
