The Commissioner, Makuran Division, Turbat, has issued a land acquisition declaration for the Tapok Dam Project in Zamuran Buleda, District Kech. The proposed land measures 58,806,000 square feet and is required for construction of the dam.
The land was notified under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, by the Collector / Deputy Commissioner, District Kech, through Notification No. 8230-37/Tapok Dam/RB, dated 20 June 2026. The following land is likely to be acquired for this purpose:
