Call for Concept Notes — Challenge Fund (1st Round) for Export-Oriented Textile SMEs

Better Governance and Business Environment (BGBE), co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, invites export-oriented SMEs in the textiles manufacturing sector to submit concept notes for the Challenge Fund (1st Round). The Fund offers matching grants to support innovation and green production practices in textile and allied manufacturing.

Up to 15 SMEs (in Punjab and Sindh) will be awarded matching grants. Grant awards range from €30,000 to €100,000 with a total pool of €1,000,000; SMEs are expected to contribute at least 50% of project cost (cash or in-kind). Eligible, export-oriented, legally registered manufacturing SMEs should apply online via the Good Grants Portal by 2026-08-10. Further details and application instructions are available on the portal.
