Tender: Rehabilitation of DHA Expressway (Turnkey) – DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi (CE-PH5-26-02)

Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad-Rawalpindi, CE & Chief Engineer Branch (Tender Code: CE-PH5-26-02) invites sealed "Single Stage Two Envelope" bids from PEC- and DHA-registered contractors/firms in Category C-1 & above with specialization CE-01 & CE-10 for the turnkey rehabilitation and construction of the DHA Expressway.

Project Overview: Rehabilitation & construction of 7.5 km length, 150 feet wide, 6-lane DHA Expressway on a turnkey basis, including assessment of present road structure, design, construction, pavement works, footpath/road furniture rehabilitation, recarpeting, hydrology/drainage works and related civil works to deliver a complete, functional expressway.

Major Scope of Work includes (selection of key items):

• Detailed design, survey and engineering of the road.
• Condition assessment of existing road and rehabilitation of defective/damaged sections.
• Drainage design with hydrological study and construction of complete storm water drainage system including structures.
• Third-party vetting and structural stability checks for all designs.
• Full-depth recarpeting / asphalt overlay and surface strengthening.
• Road markings, signage and solar street lighting.
• Rehabilitation of horticulture, rain harvesting and water supply systems for road medians.
• Shifting of services, testing, commissioning and handover as a complete functional facility; provision of expressway gate.
